Inlet Filter Installation

Required for all WAZER set-up!

The Inlet Filter Canister is a enclosed water filter with a 200 mesh netting. This filter will help protect the WAZER from impurities in your water supply. Particles larger than 40 micron will be blocked by the filter mesh. This filter also comes with a pressure gauge to indicate the static and running pressure of your water input. Ensure the inlet water supply is between 35-125 psi (0.24Mpa - 0.86Mpa) during operation.

The following instruction will guide you through the installation. If you have any questions, reach out to support@wazer.com for assistance

Tools Needed

  1. Adjustable wrench

  2. Philips Screw Driver

  3. Hose Cuter

  4. A marker

  5. A pair of pliers

Installation Procedure

1. The filter canister comes in a box kit, along with the Desktop Main unit and Pump box. Remove the filter canister and other accessories from the box

2.  Remove the brass fittings, ensure the gasket is properly placed.

3. Tighten the brass fitting on one side using an adjustable wrench. Stop tightening when you feel the gasket is being compressed halfway. Repeat this process on the other side

4. Use the marker to leave a mark on the brass threads, 8mm from the end.

5. Locate the push-to-connect fittings. Ensure they have their black rubber gasket in place.

6. Tighten the push-to-connect fittings onto the brass threaded fitting. Keep tightening until the bottom of the push-to-connect fitting touches the 8mm mark we made earlier. You may use the wrench to help you in this step

7. Take a look at the bottom drain port. If it is open, turn the top knob clockwise to move the filter core downwards to block the drain port. Stop turning it once you feel resistance.

8. Pull out the canister holder from the box, and select a type of screw for the location you will mount the canister

9. Fasten the screw through the holder, anchor the holder to the chosen location.

10. Start by connecting the water input hose to the left side of the filter. The water flow must follow the arrow shown on the brass section of the canister.

11. Then, connect the right side of the filter to the Pump Box using the supplied water input hose. Use a hose cutter or sharp blade to cut the hose in around the filter canister.

12. Put the filter canister onto the holder

13. Attach the transparent silicone hose to the bottom drain port, secure the hose using the included clamp

14. Turn on the water supply to check if the fitting connection leaks.

  1. If you detect any leak, shut-off the water input, remove the connector to inspect the gasket first, then reassemble the fittings.

  2. Do not keep tightening the leaking fitting, it will damage the gasket and cause more serious damage.
