We invited the engineering team at 3D Printing Industry (3DPI)—a respected independent publication—to review the WAZER Pro. Their review was conducted at Solid Print3D, our authorized UK distributor, giving 3DPI full access to the machine, our support, and real-world testing conditions.
“The WAZER Pro may be compact, measuring just 856 x 648 x 1400 mm, but it packs a punch.”

3D Printing Industry (3DPI) is a global media company providing a dedicated resource for anyone interested in digital manufacturing, a technology sector that is rapidly growing in relevance and application across industrial and consumer sectors.
The mission of 3DPI is to report on and create original content centered around the latest developments in digital manufacturing, keeping its audience updated on technology breakthroughs, the latest applications, and the opinions of industry insiders.
Their Findings
“Despite its small footprint, the WAZER Pro is a powerful and capable waterjet cutter, delivering precision cuts with minimal effort and requiring less maintenance than other systems we’ve tested.”
WAZER Pro stands out for its exceptional precision and repeatability, delivering a mean deviation of just 0.02 mm and a standard deviation of 0.011 mm across batch-produced aluminum parts. In circular trajectory tests—often challenging for belt-driven systems—WAZER Pro achieved a mean axis deviation of only 0.001 mm and maintained total tolerance well below ±0.1 mm, reinforcing its ability to produce high-accuracy cuts consistently, even on complex geometries.
In terms of cutting power, WAZER Pro operates at 7,400 psi with a 2.1 kW hydraulic pump, enabling it to slice through a wide range of materials, including 1 mm brass gaskets in just 9 minutes and 25 mm foam without using abrasive. WAZER Pro also successfully completed a 1-inch-thick aluminum cut, consuming 25.4 kg of abrasive over nearly 3 hours—demonstrating the capability to handle extreme thicknesses, though with the tradeoff of visible pierce marks due to mid-cut abrasive refills.

Smart features enhance both efficiency and safety. The backflow sensor automatically halts operation when water enters the abrasive line, protecting internal components and the abrasive. Meanwhile, the automated abrasive collection system, submerged cutting mode, and absolute locating jig all contribute to a streamlined workflow for cleaner, more precise results. According to 3DPI, these features make WAZER Pro not only powerful but also user-friendly—ideal for professionals who need industrial-grade performance in a compact, accessible form.

“With its affordable price, wide material compatibility, low maintenance, streamlined workflow, and strong performance, the WAZER Pro offers a compelling option for those seeking professional waterjet cutting performance without the premium price tag.”
Powerful, Compact, and Tested in the Real World
We designed WAZER Pro to break the barrier between accessibility and industrial performance. 3DPI’s independent testing confirms what many of our customers already know: you don’t need a six-figure investment or a massive factory floor to unlock professional-grade waterjet capabilities.
